A tragic road accident on Sunday evening, June 22, 2025, has left four police officers dead and two others seriously injured. The accident happened along the Garissa Highway.

According to eyewitnesses, the police vehicle was speeding before the driver lost control. The vehicle rolled several times before landing off the road. Four officers died on the spot, while two others were taken to hospital in critical condition.
