Autopsy Results Raise Questions About Albert Ojwang’s Death
The recent autopsy report on the late Albert Ojwang, a well-known X influencer, has brought to light disturbing new details surrounding his death, casting doubt on the initial version of events provided by the National Police Service. Ojwang, who had been detained at the Central Police Station prior to his passing, was reportedly found with several injuries that appear inconsistent with the police's claim that his death was a result of a self-inflicted head injury.

The autopsy report for Albert Ojwang has revealed that his injuries were not self-inflicted, raising serious questions about the circumstances of his death. Ojwang, a popular X influencer and teacher, died shortly after being detained at Central Police Station.

His family’s lawyer shared that Ojwang had visible injuries on his hands and back signs that point to a struggle. This directly contradicts the police’s initial report that he hit his head on a cell wall.

On Monday, activists stormed City Mortuary, demanding access to his body and transparency from authorities. The scheduled autopsy was delayed after government pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor recused himself due to a family connection with the deceased.

Dr. Bernard Midia, who stepped in to lead the autopsy, confirmed on Tuesday that Ojwang’s body had injuries on multiple parts, including the head and neck. He stated that the cause of death was a head injury, neck compression, and trauma to other areas consistent with assault.

Samples from the body have been taken for further analysis by investigative agencies. The findings have intensified calls for justice and accountability.
